NNR CEO , Dr Bismark Tyobeka participated in the IAEA International Conference on a Decade of Progress after Fukushima-Daiichi which was held from 8-12 November 2021. The theme of the conference was “Building on the Lessons Learned to Further Strengthen Nuclear Safety: Dr Tyobeka participated in a panel session with leading international nuclear safety authorities from the United States of America/ Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Czech Republic/State Office for Nuclear Safety. Japan/Nuclear Regulation Authority, Canada/Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and the Switzerland/Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate. The panel discussed the topic of International Legal Instruments.
